About Us
PETsits is a trusted, professional house and pet-sitting company which now has franchise opportunities across the UK. The service is extremely popular with animal lovers who don’t like to leave their pets with strangers at a kennel, cattery or veterinary clinic whilst they go on holiday.
PETsits Ltd offers flexible franchise opportunities for those wishing to become self-employed on a part-time or full-time basis. We specialise in a professional approach to pet care and house-sitting giving our clients peace of mind and a sense of security. Running a franchise part-time could earn you £900 per month and full-time earnings can be over £2000 per month. For those looking for a management opportunity, a larger territory can be purchased and an additional staff training package provided.
We are interested in hearing from those who have a keen interest in animal care. Daily tasks that you will offer as a franchisee include:

Training and Support
There is a mandatory day’s training before you can begin your PETsits work and you must complete an additional day’s course in First Aid and Health Care for Pets in the first 6 months of becoming a franchisee which will award you with a college certificate. You will also receive an operations manual and two months marketing support to help start-up your franchise.
Financial Information
The franchises have been set at an affordable rate so that people can run them part-time and fit the work around other commitments such as childcare or full-time employment. Sally Butters, Director of PETsits Ltd explained, “I have friends who are desperate to get back to work but only have a few hours free each day while their children are at nursery so this is a really flexible option for them. This is also an ideal business for a retired person who wants to work from home and be in control of the hours they are committed to working. Of course, people can also run this full-time and, with potential earnings for a single franchisee of over £2,000 per month, it is a great opportunity!”
The initial 2-year franchise costs just £1,500 + VAT includes training, start-up support, personalised marketing material, mailing list, webpage and stationery, CRB check, and territory. Franchisees must also arrange their own Public Liability Insurance and allow for other promotional and operational costs, such as car insurance for business purposes, which can total approximately £400 per year. The monthly management service fee of just £30 + VAT is utilised by the Franchisor for online marketing and national advertising campaigns.

Territories/Locations
Franchises are currently operating in Bournemouth and Worcestershire. The franchise fee is based on a territory containing 100,000 population.
